This appendix is considered an integral part of the collective agreement between the parties and the workers. In 2017, the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board decided that civilian members of the RCMP should be considered public service officers under the ESS classification, which do essentially work similar to those of EC officials. When this decision comes into force, CADRE workers will be covered by the collective agreement and will be considered part of the EC`s bargaining unit. In the meantime, existing RCMP conditions continue to apply to SSE members. However, these members can benefit from a number of CAPE benefits, including assistance in filing complaints and representation in discussions with the Ministry of Finance secretariat. 1.1.32 Severance pay and other benefits arising from other clauses of collective agreements are separate from those mentioned in this appendix and beyond. The following notices provide the Staff Community with a policy interpretation, guidance and updates on collective agreements, classification, compensation and labour relations, as well as the guidelines of the Joint National Council (JNC). The European collective agreement applies to federal employees of the Economics and Social Sciences (EC) group. We are negotiating the agreement with the Labour Council of Canada, which is covered by the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act. Salary (remuneration) – has the same meaning as the “wage rate” in the employee`s collective agreement. The following collective agreements are no longer in force.
They have been archived and remain online only for reference purposes. To view an archived chord, make a selection from one of the fields below, then click on the link that contains the requested expiration date. You will find the current collective agreements (in force) in our collective agreements department. The most recent European collective agreement contains updated provisions: as soon as TBS and PIPSC agree on provisional language and programming, this agreement will be submitted to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the PIPSC-IN bargaining table for ratification and inclusion in their collective agreement.
